Tip #1 - Select the High Performance Power Plan
If you're using a PC for music performance then without doubt the most important thing you should check is that you're running Windows in High Performance mode. Without this you're likely to experience random pops, clicks and glitches.
If you're running on battery powered device, make sure you're plugged in while performing and also don't forget to switch back your power plan when you need to save battery.

- Click the Window's start button
- Type "Power Options" and press Enter
- You might need to click "Show Additional Plans"
- Choose "High Performance"
